Job Title

Principal Accountabilities:

Set-up and operate all CNC auto forming equipment to specification and with the capability of meeting quoted rates.

Operate equipment to ensure the highest quality of production is achieved.

Maintain full knowledge of test equipment.

Inspect work for conformance to job specifications.

Obtain necessary materials and tools required to achieve expected run rates.

Complete documentation as needed.

Perform machine maintenance.

Ensure equipment is in satisfactory condition and communicate when repairs are needed.

Ensure the safe operation of equipment.

Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

Report immediately to supervisor/lead/manager any and all problems, which may affect safety, equipment, tooling, and/or quality.

Maintain full working knowledge of all processes.

Ensure a clean and organized work environment.

Conduct himself/herself in a professional manner in accordance with company guidelines.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Tenacity in overcoming obstacles while maintaining productive and positive working relationships.

Ability to execute in a rapidly changing fast paced environment that requires strong teamwork.

Willing to understand spring and wire form designs.

Versatile in all wire ranges.

Understanding of all tools, gages, equipment, and other various instruments used to perform position.

Basic ability to understand blueprints, schematics, and instrumentation diagrams.

Skill in performing accurate arithmetic functions involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; using decimals, percentages, fractions, and ratios.

Knowledge of quality system and ISO procedures.

Education and Experience: Required: Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk throughout the building. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift up to 60 pounds and move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The employee may be required to work with hazardous materials. The employee may be exposed to hot surfaces, hot air, electrical hazards, and flames. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works with moving machinery and occasionally in outside weather.
