This role demands deep expertise in ServiceNow architecture, secure platform operations, and agile delivery.
You'll lead the development of scalable, compliant solutions across ITSM, ITOM, and custom applications, while mentoring junior developers and driving DevSecOps practices.
Responsibilities include:Architect and implement ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and scoped applicationsDesign, code, and deploy custom ServiceNow applications and integrationsAnalyze requirements, user stories, and wireframes in a cross-functional agile teamDevelop workflows, business rules, UI policies, and automation using Flow Designer and IntegrationHubLead ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and module deploymentsPerform code reviews, define development standards, and enforce security best practicesTroubleshoot and resolve platform issues; ensure stability and performanceAuthor technical documentation and provide training to stakeholdersMaintain strict compliance with RMF, FedRAMP, and other federal security frameworksSupport software accreditation and maintain application integrityHere's what you need:5 years of experience with ServiceNow developmentServiceNow Certified Application Developer and/or Certified System Administrator (must be current)Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow Studio Experience with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHubFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevSecOps principlesExperience with RMF and federal software accreditation processesBonus Points if you have:Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ITOM Specialist, Performance Analytics, HRSD)Experience with FedRAMP, NIST, or DoD compliance frameworks Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolsExperience integrating ServiceNow with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs)Prior experience supporting federal agencies or defense programsProven leadership in technical teams, including mentoring, code reviews, and performance feedbackExcellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skillsBachelor's degreeSecurity Clearance:Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is requiredThe pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is: $127,100 - $161,100 USDEqual Employment Opportunity Statement We believe that no one should be discriminated against because of their differences.
