Pathologists' Assistant / Pathology Technician

Location: New York, NY 10065

Shift: Day 5 8 Hours 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Duration: 8 Weeks, with possibility of extension

We are seeking a qualified Pathologists' Assistant / Pathology Technician to support clinical pathology operations in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, relevant pathology experience, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Qualifications

0–3 years of related Pathology experience required.

Current New York State licensure as a Pathologists' Assistant.

Bachelor's degree or higher from a Pathologists' Assistant program or an equivalent program recognized by the New York State Education Department.

Alternatively, Bachelor's degree or higher from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists' Assistant program.

Fellowship in the American Association of Pathologists' Assistants (AAPA) preferred.

ASCP certification preferred.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a clinical pathology environment.

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills.Schedule & Assignment Details

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

45-minute unpaid lunch break

8-week assignment, with potential for extension.
