PreOp/PACU RNThe position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Pre-Operative and Post Anesthesia Care.
The role requires managing patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
The nurse will provide care in accordance with established protocols.
Responsibilities include assessing patients prior to and following surgical interventions.
The nurse will also educate patients about procedures and recovery.
Ideal candidates should demonstrate proficiency with Epic charting system.
A patient ratio of 1:1 is expected during shifts.
This role requires on-call duties, including weekends.
The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
Skills in managing various medical devices and equipment are essential.
Comprehensive knowledge of cardiac procedures is beneficial for this position.Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pre/Post Operative settings required.
License: Valid RN license Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: Epic experience required.
Experience in a Level 1 trauma center or outpatient setting preferred.
