An assembler performs the assembly operation requirements for products built at COMPAL.
An assembler is responsible to the line lead and/or supervisor to which they are assigned.Major responsibilities:Follow work instructions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity relating to product, process and quality systemIdentify to line lead/supervisor any problems relating to the product, process and quality systemProper usage and care in handling of tools, materials, components and equipmentReport all health and/or safety hazards, quality issues and potential production problems to a supervisorKeeping individual work area neat and cleanDesired qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of one to three months related experience and/or trainingReliable transportationMust regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Specific vision abilities such as: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusTravel: Less than 10%Benefits at Compal USA (Indiana) Inc.Medical, dental vision and prescription drug insuranceLife insuranceShort- and long-term disabilityExcellent 401k plan with matching contributionsGenerous PTO policyCompany paid holidaysCompal USA (Indiana) Inc.
