In this role, you will play a vital part in bridging communication gaps, ensuring that our wellness content—ranging from prenatal care to postpartum recovery—is accurately conveyed across English, Arabic, and Urdu-speaking communities.

Qualifications & Skills

*Language Proficiency: Native or near-native fluency in English, Arabic, and Urdu.

*Domain Expertise: Demonstrated experience in medical or health-related translation; familiarity with maternal health or midwifery terminology is a significant plus.

*Detail-Oriented: Observational in nuance, syntax, and medical accuracy.

*Cultural Competency: A deep understanding of the cultural nuances required to communicate sensitive health topics effectively.

*Tech Savvy: Proficiency in translation software (CAT tools) and standard project management platforms (Microsoft Word, PP, Excel). Experienced in inputting large amounts of data.

Key Responsibilities

* Precision Translation:

Translate Midwife Cares health education resources, articles, and wellness guides from English to Arabic and Urdu, ensuring medical accuracy and terminology consistency.

*Cultural Adaptation: Adapt content to ensure it is culturally sensitive and contextually appropriate for diverse audiences.

*Tone Alignment: Maintain the highly certified, supportive, and authoritative voice of Midwife Cares across all translated materials.

*Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of translated content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and grammatical perfection.

*Collaboration: Partner with our internal team to ensure health messaging remains both medically sound and easy for the patient to understand.
