Emergency Room NurseProvides direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department.

Evaluates outcomes and consults with other specialists and ancillary departments as required.

Adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care and flow through the Emergency Room.

Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care.

Meets the communication needs of patients and families.

Demonstrates initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations.

Communicates with physicians about changes in patient status, symptomatology, and results of diagnostic studies.

Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Holiday coverage required.
