Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Motions Venture PT, you will take on a range of responsibilities aimed at delivering high-quality patient care, including:

Assisting in the implementation of individualized physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist, ensuring tailored approaches to each patient's needs.

Administering therapeutic interventions such as exercises, manual therapy techniques, gait training, and pain management strategies to promote healing and restore functionality.

Carefully monitoring and documenting patient progress, using specialized records management systems, and communicating any significant changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.

Educating patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, safety practices, and effective home care strategies to facilitate ongoing recovery.

Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with both state regulations and facility policies, ensuring confidentiality and quality control.

Creating a safe and supportive environment during all therapy sessions, minimizing risks and maximizing patient comfort.

Collaborating actively with the wider healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes, sharing insights and strategies to enhance care effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adult and geriatric patients, assisting those dealing with various conditions ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Understanding the unique qualities and needs of this population will be crucial in tailoring your therapeutic approach, fostering both physical recovery and emotional support.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Completion of an Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Colorado.

At least two years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, with a focus on adult or geriatric patient populations strongly preferred.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
