Part-Time Long-Term Substitute Physical Science Teacher

Parker Academy, a small therapeutic middle and high school in Concord, NH, is seeking a part-time Long-Term Substitute Physical Science Teacher beginning at the start of the 2026–2027 school year.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM The substitute will teach three small Physical Science classes, with approximately 3–6 students per class.

Parker serves students who benefit from small classes, individualized support, and a relationship-based learning environment.

Responsibilities include: Teaching three Physical Science classes each morning Preparing and delivering engaging, accessible lessons Maintaining a supportive and structured classroom environment Collaborating with Parker Academy staff as needed Qualifications: Background in science, education, or a related field Teaching experience strongly preferred Ability to connect with middle and high school students NH teaching certification preferred, but not required This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 3–8 weeks, depending on the return date of the regular classroom teacher.
