Are you confident with both copper and fiber, from pulling to certification?

Do you thrive on collaboration with project managers, customers, and other trades?Core work you’ll perform

Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A installation, termination, labeling, and testing.

Fiber optic installation and termination, fusion splicing, and full test/validation.

Pathway and support installation: cable tray, ladder rack, sleeves, backboards, and J hooks.

Code compliant firestopping.

High pair copper backbone installation and splicing.

System certification using Fluke DSX 8600 testers and OTDR equipment.

Reading/interpreting construction drawings and specifications.

Site surveys to plan cable routes and penetrations.

Accurate reports, labeling, and test documentation.

Maintaining a safe, orderly job site; professional communication at all times.Must haves

3+ years of commercial low voltage installation experience.

Experience with structured cabling and fiber optic systems.

Blueprint/construction document literacy.

Understanding of TIA/EIA standards and best practices.

Experience using Fluke certification equipment.

BICSI or OEM certifications are a plus.

Valid driver’s license; clean MVR.

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Comfort lifting 50 lbs and working from ladders and lifts.What you’ll get
