GD Resources is seeking a qualified Prevention Education Coordinator to support the U.S. Army Family Advocacy Program at Camp Darby, Italy. Key Responsibilities
Deliver non-clinical prevention education on child abuse, domestic violence, teen dating violence, parenting, stress and anger management, and healthy relationships.
Conduct FAP briefings, classes, unit training, and community outreach activities.
Coordinate annual training for military units, command teams, schools, and personnel working with children.
Develop approved marketing and educational materials for FAP programs and events.
Maintain training logs, attendance records, unit databases, and monthly reports.
Enter service and participant data into the Client Tracking System.
Support Family Advocacy Committee meetings and prepare agendas and minutes.
Coordinate educational referrals with the FAP Manager and appropriate service providers.
Report suspected child abuse or domestic violence in accordance with Army requirements.
Safeguard personally identifiable and sensitive information. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in psychology, counseling, social work, behavioral or social science, health education, community health, public health, or a related field.
At least one year of experience in each of the following:
Family and children's services or advocacy.
Community program organization.
Family violence prevention.
Experience delivering professional training and prevention-education programs.
Strong written and verbal English proficiency.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based information systems.
Ability to work effectively with military, civilian, and community personnel.
Ability to obtain and maintain all required background checks, CNACI/Tier 1 suitability, DOCPER authorization, installation access, and Common Access Card.
Must meet suitability requirements for working with children. Employment Details
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Normal hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
Position type: On-site, non-personal services contract.
Overtime: Not authorized.
Occasional schedule flexibility and approved travel may be required.
