We are seeking an experienced Application Developer for a short-term, project-based contract to complete a specific scope of work centered on a home page redesign and significant improvements to site search capabilities. This is a remote role requiring 15 to 40 hours per week until the project scope (estimated at under 140 hours) is completed.

Key Responsibilities

• Website Redesign & Search: Execute a home page redesign and enhance site search functionalities using Drupal and Solr technologies.

• Content Management: Manage and update website content—including text, images, and multimedia elements—using the Drupal Content Management System (CMS).

• Standardization & Accessibility: Assist in placing website content while ensuring consistency, accuracy, appropriateness, timeliness, and strict adherence to WCAG accessibility compliance standards.

• Integration: Communicate and implement service-related links to external departments, agencies, and relevant third-party resources.

• Security Maintenance: Ensure robust website security by regularly updating software, plugins, and themes. Implement security protocols and continuously monitor vulnerabilities (including SSL/TLS8 encryption, firewalls, and malware detection/prevention).

• Technical Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot technical issues related to website functionality, server configuration, and user access, collaborating closely with IT support and external vendors as needed.

Additional Requirements

• Must be residing in the United States and authorized to work in the US.

• Must successfully pass a comprehensive background verification process (including Criminal, SSN Trace, and Global Monitor checks).

• Estimated Duration: 4 months (Estimated under 140 total hours for scope completion)

• Job Type: Contract / Part-Time (15–40 hours per week)

• Location: 100% Remote (Must reside in the US and be authorized to work in the US)
