Schedule: Night shift, Float Pool assignment with 1:3-4 patient ratios. Weekend shifts assigned according to unit staffing needs. Orientation: 36 hours.

Highlights:

Float Pool role serving progressive care unit (PCU) and step-down patient populations

May float to affiliated hospital locations within close proximity (approximately 5-6 minute walk)

Epic charting system utilized across all units

Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more

Estimated patient ratios: 1:3-4 across shifts

Two pre-approved time-off periods available during assignment

Requirements:

Minimum 1-2 years of recent RN experience (candidates with limited experience subject to manager review)

Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred

Epic EMR experience required

Proficiency in IV starts and cardiac telemetry monitoring

Strong skills in arterial line management, central line care, BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, dysrhythmia interpretation, cardiac and vasoactive drip management, and tracheostomy care

Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Two professional references required (at least one from formal leadership/management)

Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing

Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
