Revit Electrical Associate Modeler
We are seeking a motivated Revit Electrical Associate Modeler to join our VDC team. This is a true entry-level position designed for someone who is learning the electrical construction industry and building their modeling skills from the ground up. The right candidate has a working knowledge of Revit and a strong desire to grow. No prior electrical experience is required - we will build that with you. What matters most is reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow direction and learn fast.
Qualifications
Working knowledge of Revit: ability to open, navigate, and perform basic modeling tasks
Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal direction
Ability to work as part of a team in a structured environment
Willingness to learn electrical construction concepts and H&B modeling standards
Computer proficiency: comfortable working in a digital, cloud-based environment Key Responsibilities
Modeling & Production
Execute basic modeling tasks assigned by the Lead Modeler or Support Modeler - conduit runs, equipment placement, raceways, and supports
Work within an established Revit project
Create and maintain personal working views
Annotate drawings as directed
Maintain proper file organization and follow H&B Standards
Sync model to Autodesk Construction Cloud regularly Learning & Development
Complete assigned learning paths
Ask questions early - flag anything unclear before proceeding
Shadow Lead Modeler or Support Modeler in coordination meetings as directed Collaboration & Communication
Communicate daily progress and blockers to the Support or Lead Modeler
Accept and apply feedback on modeling work promptly
Maintain a positive and professional attitude in all team interactions Industry Knowledge
Develop a working understanding of basic electrical construction concepts - conduit types, equipment categories, and installation principles - through on-the-job learning and assigned training Work Environment
This work mainly operates within a professional office setting. All opinions and ideas shall be presented in a positive and respectful manner. The use of standard office equipment such as computers, laptops, phones, photocopiers, plotters, filing cabinets, and similar technology.
Salary Range: $41,600 to $65,000
