Store Supervisor

We are looking for a Store Supervisor to oversee our client's daily front-line operations and directly manage the store.

The role will act as the primary bridge between floor staff and store management, focusing on day-to-day execution, shift management and floor monitoring.

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage daily store operations, including openings and closings.

Manage shifts and monitor the store floor.

Assign daily tasks to staff and ensure effective execution.

Ensure staff adhere to schedules, breaks and after-hours requirements.

Maintain a clean and organized store.

Ensure compliance with company requirements and maintain accurate documentation, bin cards, etc.

Ensure strict adherence to company policies and SOPs.

Manage stock rotation and monitor product expiry.

Ensure effective shelf stocking and conduct inventory counts.

Reduce inventory shrinkage and loss.

Key Skills

Strong store operations and floor management skills.

Ability to effectively supervise and coordinate store staff.

Strong attention to stock control, rotation and inventory accuracy.

Good understanding of company policies, SOPs and compliance requirements.

Strong organizational and task management skills.

Qualifications

Relevant qualification in Retail Management, Business Management or a related field would be an advantage.

Previous experience in a retail/store supervisory role.
