QA Engineer (Functional / API / UI Testing)Location: Columbus, Ohio (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)Duration: 6–12 MonthsJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong experience in functional testing of web and API-based applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manual and functional testing, end-to-end validation of business workflows, and strong exposure to API testing and UI validation.

The role also requires working knowledge of test automation tools to support regression and scalability efforts in an Agile environment.

The QA Engineer will play a key role in ensuring product quality across multiple systems by designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test strategies, while collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders.Required Skills & Qualifications7–8 years of experience in Software Testing with strong focus on functional and manual testingStrong expertise in Web UI testing and API testingHands-on experience with test case design, test planning, and executionStrong experience using API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or equivalentSolid understanding of SDLC and STLC processesExperience with Jira or similar test management and defect tracking toolsBasic to intermediate experience with automation tools such as Selenium or PlaywrightFamiliarity with scripting/programming languages such as C# or TypeScript (preferred)Working knowledge of Git and version control workflowsExposure to CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins is a plusAbility to translate business requirements into comprehensive test coveragePreferred / Nice-to-HaveExperience in Retail Automotive domainExposure to test automation framework development or enhancementExperience in performance, accessibility, or cross-browser testingHands-on experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines
