Senior Manager Electrical EPCWe are looking for a talented Senior Manager with over 10 years of electrical EPC experience.

You will oversee major projects, coordinate with project teams, and promote safety in construction activities.

The ideal candidate should have strong project management and communication skills, coupled with an electrical engineering background.Responsibilities:Champions the company's core values of Culture, Ethics, Performance, Compliance, Schedule Drive, Alignment to Client, and Employee UtilizationOversees and manages a team of Discipline Engineering Directors and ManagersProvides technical leadership guidanceRecruits, interviews, hires, and trains Director and Manager-level staff in the departmentDevelop, implement and maintain a strategy for leading and growing the EE team as they continue to evolve and expand their subject matter expertiseAct as a Subject Matter Expert within their engineering discipline and provide project support in that roleAct as the Engineer of Record, as needed, to support various projectsDevelop functional relationships with the organization's regional leadership to ensure that the regions are receiving the necessary engineering supportSupport the QC group with technical engineering reviews and support QC resourcing with appropriate SME resourcesSpecifications of major equipment, development of equipment bid packages, technical equipment and commercial reviews, equipment bid recommendations, equipment drawing reviewsServe as a technical point of contact to clients for technical and project progress related queriesSupports client development and relationshipsMaintain current client relationships and identify new opportunities within existing client portfoliosDevelop concept designs, alternative options, engineering calculations, analysis, resource allocation, and engineering estimates for projectsPerform or oversee designs for projects, developing conceptual design, and communicating the design to clientsResponsible for enforcing and maintaining all applicable standards/codes within EE teamMaintain in-depth knowledge of power system protection and relaying schemes for electrical distribution systems, develop/review complex electrical system models and validate various system study findings/recommendations, develop electrical specifications for major electrical equipment, datasheets for instruments, specifications for PLC/DCS panel systemsTraining, Development and Career PathingHelp support the discipline engineering management in the development of career pathing within their disciplinesWorks with executive leadership to develop and maintain the overall strategy for engineering training and developmentDevelop a EE team growth plan to build a growth strategy, identify current gaps, and implement a plan for their resolutionResponsible for growing a team, developing and maintaining programs that train, coach, and mentor engineers and designersEvaluate, provide guidance, provide feedback, and run performance reviews with direct reportsQualifications:Minimum fifteen (15) years of industry-related experienceFive (5) years leadership or managementMultiple PE state registrations may be needed depending on business needsCollaborates with senior leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations, projects, and systemsThe role is important to ensure engineers are qualified, experienced, trained, and prepared to adequately support engineering needs on projects, proposals, and execution in the field as well as ensuring we have engineers with the right skills and experience supporting projectsSupport the maintenance of EE industry standards for company and communicate information across the companyPossess and maintain broad and in-depth knowledge of principles, practices, procedures, and standards related to electrical engineeringResponsible for process development related to electrical engineeringMaintain current knowledge and general understanding of Utilities and Oil & Gas industry standards and codesBachelor's of Science degree in Engineering field requiredLicensure as a Professional EngineerConstruction knowledge and field experience
