Key responsibilities include:

Manage commercial construction projects throughout all phases of the project lifecycle

Lead project planning, execution, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and closeout activities

Drive project performance to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors

Oversee project financials, including cost control, change management, contract administration, and forecasting

Coordinate internal project teams and provide leadership to Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and field staff

Review drawings, specifications, contract documents, and project requirements

Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders

Identify and manage project risks while proactively developing solutions

Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements

Monitor project schedules and drive successful milestone achievement

Support business development efforts by fostering client relationships and contributing to repeat business opportunities

Qualifications and experience:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field preferred

Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, Project Manager, or Senior Project Engineer within commercial construction

Experience managing diverse projects across sectors such as healthcare, education, corporate, industrial, mixed-use, hospitality, multifamily, public sector, or mission-critical facilities is highly desirable

Strong understanding of project management principles, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration

Experience managing subcontractors, client relationships, and project financial performance

Knowledge of construction means and methods, building systems, and construction documents

Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment

Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction

Proficiency with construction management software and project management tools
