Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and core system reliability. You will work closely with development and security teams to build scalable, automated, and secure systems that power high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

CI/CD Pipeline Management: Automate build, test, and deployment workflows using platforms like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or CircleCI.

Cloud Architecture & Management: Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for scalability, cost-efficiency, and resilience.

Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy, manage, and scale microservices using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS).

Monitoring & Observability: Implement continuous monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK Stack.

Security & Compliance (DevSecOps): Integrate security practices into the CI/CD pipeline, manage secrets, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Reliability & On-Call: Participate in architecture reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and establish incident management and incident response processes.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Architecture roles.

Cloud Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Automation: Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, Go, or PowerShell.

Containers: Expertise with Docker and Kubernetes cluster management in production environments.

IaC: Strong proficiency with Terraform, Pulumi, or similar infrastructure automation tools.

Database & Networking: solid understanding of VPC design, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and relational/NoSQL databases.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in high-growth, regulated, or health-tech environments.

Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, CKA - Certified Kubernetes Administrator).

Familiarity with DevSecOps tools (Snyk, SonarQube, Vault).
