Responsibilities:
Strictly adheres to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), safety protocols, and "Clean as You Go" rules, including wearing appropriate PPE and maintaining the micro-sterile lab.
Samples raw materials and products to detect contaminants, performs sterility testing for market release, conducts growth promotion tests, and validates testing methods.
Prepares required culture media/reagents and monitors chemical inventory levels to request timely stock replenishments.
Implements environmental, water, and personnel monitoring programs to uphold hygiene standards across the plant facility.
Accurately logs equipment usage and calibration, maintains analyst journals, and timely submits laboratory reports to the supervisor.
Investigates Out-of-Specification (OOS) results, proactively reports regulatory non-compliance, and immediately escalates equipment breakdowns or potential problems.
Follows the QC Manual, participates in company audits/validations, and carries out additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry or other related courses
Must be a licensed Chemist, Chemical technician and/or Registered Microbiologist
at least 1 to 2 years laboratory experience is required
Works systematically and has good attention to details
Team player, results-oriented.
