Mt. Olympus Resorts is seeking energetic, dependable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Retail Associate / Barista. This position is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while preparing beverages, operating the point-of-sale system, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience.

We are looking for team members who are available to work full-time and can work open-to-close shifts based on business needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.

Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, and other beverages according to company standards.

Take customer orders accurately and process payments using the POS system.

Serve food items and beverages while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.

Stock merchandise, food, beverages, and supplies throughout the shift.

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming shop at all times, ensuring merchandise is neatly displayed and the store provides an inviting atmosphere for all guests.

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked café and retail area.

Assist guests with retail purchases and answer questions about products.

Restock inventory and notify management of low stock levels.

Follow all health, safety, and company policies.

Work efficiently during busy periods while providing excellent customer service.

Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning equipment, counting cash, and preparing the area for the next shift.

Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth daily operations.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Previous retail, cashier, barista, or food service experience is preferred but not required.

Schedule

This position requires full-time availability with the flexibility to work open-to-close shifts.

Hours vary based on the season:

Summer: Typically 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Winter: Hours vary depending on seasonal operations and business needs.

Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Compensation & Growth

Starting Pay: $13.50–$15.00 per hour, based on experience.
