To be successful in this role, candidates should have several years of management experience leading high-volume restaurants, bars, nightclubs, festivals, entertainment venues, or similar hospitality operations.\n This position is designed for experienced hospitality professionals who are comfortable leading large teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences during extremely busy service periods.Why Join Texas Social Company?\n Join a leadership team operating one of Houston's high-energy seasonal hospitality events.\n Oktoberfest Nation is an extremely high-volume, fast-paced 6-week seasonal event where managers will be responsible for leading teams through large crowds, busy bars, high-volume food and beverage service, private events, and peak operating periods.\n If you enjoy leading people, solving challenges, working in high-volume hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences, you'll fit right in.Who This Role Is For\n\n Several years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant, bar, nightclub, festival, entertainment venue, or hospitality environment\n Proven success leading large teams during busy service periods\n Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills\n Comfortable managing hiring, scheduling, training, labor, inventory, ordering, reporting, and daily operations\n Comfortable making decisions and maintaining operational standards under pressure\n Excited to lead in a fast-paced, fully outdoor hospitality environment\n Must have reliable transportation to and from EaDo, Downtown Houston\nSeasonal Hospitality Schedule\n Hospitality doesn't operate on a traditional Monday-Friday schedule, and neither do we.\n Our busiest times are evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Managers should be comfortable working a schedule that follows the needs of the business, including longer shifts during peak operating periods throughout the approximately 6-week season.\n If you've built your career in restaurants, bars, festivals, entertainment venues, or nightlife, this schedule will feel familiar.What You'll Be Doing\n\n Oversee daily front-of-house, bar, restaurant, and event operations\n Lead, coach, and motivate a large seasonal team\n Deliver an exceptional guest experience while maintaining efficient operations\n Manage inventory, ordering, and product accountability\n Assist with hiring, scheduling, onboarding, and training seasonal employees\n Monitor sales performance, labor, reporting, and operational metrics\n Manage opening and closing procedures\n Oversee cash handling and POS procedures\n Resolve operational and guest issues quickly and professionally\n Maintain strong communication between management, staff, and operational departments\n Ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence throughout every shift\n Maintain service standards during extremely high-volume operating periods\nQualifications\n\n Must be 21 years of age or older\n Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required\n Several years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant, bar, nightclub, festival, entertainment venue, or hospitality operation\n Proven experience managing teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments\n Customer-focused with excellent leadership and organizational skills\n Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills\n Comfortable using POS systems, inventory systems, scheduling software, and reporting tools\n Comfortable working outdoors for the duration of scheduled shifts\n Must have reliable transportation to and from EaDo, Downtown Houston\nPreferred Experience\n Experience with:\n\n High-volume outdoor hospitality venues\n Festivals and large-scale events\n Square POS\n Toast POS\n 7shifts\n Inventory management systems\n VIP hospitality\n Kitchen or back-of-house management\nAvailable Positions\n\n General Manager\n Assistant General Manager\n Restaurant Manager\n Bar Manager\n Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities\n Daytime, Evening & Weekend Shifts\nCompensation\n General Managers: $22 to $35 per hour\n Assistant General Managers: $18 to $28 per hour\n Restaurant Managers and Bar Managers: $17 to $25 per hour\n Actual hourly compensation within the applicable range will depend on the position, relevant experience, qualifications, and demonstrated experience managing high-volume hospitality or event operations.\n These are paid, hourly, temporary seasonal management positions.Employment Term & Work Location\n This is an approximately 6-week seasonal opportunity for Oktoberfest Nation.\n The positions are 100% on-site in EaDo, Downtown Houston, Texas.
