Role Overview

The IT Consultant will be responsible for delivering specialist technology consulting, enterprise AI advisory, business analysis, product strategy, and digital transformation services to clients across multiple industries.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients, stakeholders, software development teams, and technology partners to identify business challenges, gather requirements, design solutions, support implementation activities, and ensure technology initiatives deliver measurable business value.

This position will play a critical role in supporting client projects, strengthening commercial relationships, supporting innovation initiatives, and contributing to the continued growth of UDUPA PVT LTD within the technology consulting and enterprise AI sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Consulting & Advisory Services

Provide specialist technology consulting, enterprise AI advisory, and product consulting services to clients.

Assess client business challenges and identify opportunities for technology-enabled improvement.

Deliver strategic recommendations relating to digital transformation, automation, workflow optimisation, and technology adoption.

Support organisations in developing technology strategies aligned to business objectives.

Provide guidance on emerging technologies and innovation opportunities.

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions to understand operational needs.

Review existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.

Produce business requirements documents, process maps, workflows, and solution specifications.

Support gap analysis, feasibility assessments, and business case development.

Enterprise AI & Digital Transformation

Support enterprise AI initiatives, workflow automation projects, and intelligent solution deployments.

Assess opportunities for AI adoption and business process optimisation.

Assist clients in implementing data-driven and AI-enabled solutions.

Support transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, decision-making, and operational performance.

Contribute to innovation projects involving automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent technologies.

Product Strategy & Solution Design

Develop product strategies, roadmaps, implementation plans, and solution recommendations.

Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and business logic specifications.

Design practical technology solutions that align with customer requirements and business objectives.

Support product management and solution development activities.

Evaluate technology platforms and recommend suitable solutions.

Project Delivery & Stakeholder Management

Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, software developers, and third-party providers.

Facilitate client workshops, project meetings, review sessions, and solution demonstrations.

Monitor project progress and support the management of risks, issues, and dependencies.

Ensure project deliverables are aligned with agreed objectives and requirements.

Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout project lifecycles.

Client Support & Knowledge Transfer

Deliver training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-transfer activities.

Support user adoption and change management initiatives.

Provide guidance and support during solution implementation and rollout.

Assist clients in understanding proposed solutions and expected outcomes.

Develop user documentation and support materials.

Business Development & Commercial Support

Assist with proposal preparation, tender submissions, and consultancy engagements.

Support client acquisition and business development initiatives.

Identify opportunities for additional consulting services and account growth.

Contribute to maintaining and strengthening commercial relationships.

Support the expansion of consultancy services into new markets and sectors.

Research & Innovation

Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, AI developments, and market opportunities.

Conduct research to support strategic recommendations and client advisory services.

Contribute to the development of new consulting methodologies and service offerings.

Support innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Requirements

Essential

Previous experience in IT Consulting, Business Analysis, Technology Consulting, Product Consulting, Digital Transformation, or a similar role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.

Experience supporting technology implementation or transformation projects.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.

Experience producing business documentation, process maps, and solution specifications.

Strong organisational and project coordination abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business analysis tools.

Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Desirable

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analysis, Business Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience within enterprise AI, machine learning, automation, or data analytics projects.

Knowledge of product management methodologies and agile delivery frameworks.

Experience within telecommunications, technology services, or professional consulting environments.

Experience supporting software development and digital product initiatives.

Business Analysis or Project Management certifications (BCS, CBAP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent).

Experience preparing tenders, proposals, and commercial consulting documentation.
