Travel Nurse Job Details
Specialty: PACU / Pre-Op / Post-Op RN
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 8:30 PM); 4x10-hour shifts may be considered
Hours Per Week: 36
Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Orientation: 40 hours
Call: Included, with every third to fourth weekend coverage

PACU RN Job Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
Pre-op and post-op recovery experience required
Current RN license in hand at time of submission
BLS required
Epic charting experience required
ACLS preferred
Level I trauma or outpatient experience preferred
Previous charge nurse experience preferred
Strong clinical knowledge in perioperative recovery and procedural care
Responsibilities
Provide safe, compassionate recovery care for patients in the pre-op and PACU setting
Monitor patients closely during Phase I recovery and respond to changes in condition
Support recovery for adult cardiac and vascular surgical patients, including CABG, AAA repair, TAVR, EVAR, bypass procedures, angiograms, pulmonary decortication, and ablations
Perform thorough pre-op assessments, patient education, and post-op evaluations
Administer medications, manage IVs, and maintain vigilant pain control and airway assessment
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure excellent outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold high standards of patient safety
