The Department of Surgery at UMass Memorial Health and UMass Chan Medical School is seeking a General Surgeon to join our growing team at Health Alliance Hospital in Leominster, Massachusetts. Health Alliance Hospital is part of UMass Memorial Health's five-hospital system and serves a vital regional role in North Worcester County. This is an exciting opportunity for a surgeon with strong laparoscopic and robotic surgery skills who is interested in developing a regional referral hub for minimally invasive surgery while building a robust general surgery practice. A da Vinci robotic platform is being acquired to support the growth of robotic and minimally invasive surgical services.

Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient general surgery services
Perform a broad range of open, laparoscopic, and robotic surgical procedures

Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
Strong laparoscopic surgical skills required
Robotic surgery experience and interest in program development preferred
Interest in academic medicine, teaching, and mentorship
MD or DO degree and eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure
Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care
