Security Manager - Bulawayo

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Security Manager to join its team in Bulawayo.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all security operations across company premises.

Develop, implement, and regularly review security policies, procedures, and programmes.

Lead, supervise, and motivate security and loss control teams.

Conduct regular security assessments and identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.

Investigate security incidents, theft, losses, breaches, and other security-related matters.

Recommend and implement measures to prevent and reduce security risks and losses.

Review and modernise security controls across all company premises.

Oversee the effective use of CCTV, access-control systems, alarms, and other security technologies.

Explore and implement appropriate AI-driven security solutions to strengthen surveillance, monitoring, and risk prevention.

Ensure security equipment and systems are properly maintained and operational.

Monitor security personnel and ensure compliance with established procedures and standards.

Work closely with management and other departments to address security and loss-control concerns.

Liaise with law enforcement agencies and other relevant authorities when required.

Prepare security reports, incident reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for management.

Conduct security briefings and training to improve staff awareness and compliance.

Ensure all security controls are consistently applied across the organisation.

Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to lead and motivate, advise security and loss control teams.

Proficiency in security assessments and investigations

Attention to detail and keen eye for identifying and, mitigating security risks.

Key Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Safety, Loss Control and Security Management/related.

At least five years of experience in the Security sector OR, Law enforcement Agents with a strong understanding and background of security principles and practices.

Holder of a clean class four (4) driver's license.

Ability to review and modernise ALL Security controls at all our premises, including the use of AI and CCTVs; a must have.
