You will partner closely with marketing, strategy, and finance stakeholders to translate results into clear recommendations that improve customer and business outcomes.Job ResponsibilitiesAnalyze customer quality metrics, including customer lifetime value (CLV) and incrementality, to inform return on investment-based portfolio optimizationLead matched market and geographic A/B tests by designing the testing approach, running analyses, and delivering recommendations on marketing effectivenessDevelop and maintain customer lifetime value and discounted cash flow (DCF) frameworks to evaluate different customer acquisition segment typesTranslate analytical findings into clear, actionable business recommendations and decision-ready narrativesPartner with finance on budgeting, forecasting, and cost-benefit analyses for marketing initiativesCollaborate across marketing analytics, test design, strategy, and finance teams while championing an inclusive, high-performing culturePresent results, tradeoffs, and recommendations to senior leaders with clarity and precisionProvide leadership and mentorship to junior data scientists, promoting rigor, high standards, and continuous learningRequired Qualifications, Capabilities and SkillsFormal training or certification on data science concepts and 5+ years applied experienceBachelor's and Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as data science, analytics, mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, economics, finance, or a related field5+ years of experience applying statistical methods to real-world business problems5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and at least one analytical programming language (Python or R)Experience supporting finance workstreams, including budgeting, forecasting, and return on investment and cost-benefit evaluationHands-on experience with A/B testing and incrementality testing, including experimental design, statistical significance evaluation, and translating results into business recommendationsDemonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate analysis and code developmentExperience with data visualization for analysis and executive-level presentationsStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex findings concisely to senior stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities and SkillsExperience in marketing analytics, ideally within consumer banking, deposits, or financial servicesProficiency with Tableau or comparable business intelligence and visualization platformsDemonstrated ability to operate independently on unstructured problems while maintaining strong stakeholder alignmentStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple workstreams simultaneouslyProven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and translate business goals into analytical frameworksAbout UsChase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America's households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
