Per Diem Substitute Teachers

The Beacon City School District seeks candidates who are NYS Certified and/or who are currently enrolled as an Education Major in an accredited College or University to provide instruction in all subject areas to the District's High School and Middle School on a per diem basis for the 2026-2027 school year. Must have the knowledge and the ability to use various virtual platforms as needed in relation to the position.

Daily compensation rates:

Non-certified substitutes: $90/day

NYS certified substitutes: $115/day

Retired Beacon Teachers' Association substitutes: $125/day

This is an ongoing recruitment. Applications will be accepted continuously and reviewed as vacancies occur throughout the 26-27 school year.
