Position Summary
ONUS Global Fulfillment Solutions seeks an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Manager to lead daily operations at one of our fulfillment centers. The Warehouse Manager will oversee all warehouse activities including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and warehouse staff. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal warehouse efficiency, maintaining safety compliance, managing budgets, developing team members, and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, and cost control. The Warehouse Manager will collaborate closely with the Director of Logistics and cross-functional teams to support ONUS's growth and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
●Oversee all daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping
●Manage and supervise warehouse staff including hiring, training, performance management, and discipline
●Maintain and optimize warehouse layout, workflow processes, and inventory organization
●Monitor and track key performance metrics (KPIs) including fulfillment accuracy, order cycle time, and on-time delivery
●Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols, workers' compensation procedures, and workplace safety standards
●Conduct safety training and audits to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
●Manage inventory accuracy and reconciliation using warehouse management systems (WMS)
●Coordinate with shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS) to optimize rates and service levels
●Prepare and monitor warehouse budget, capital expenditure requests, and cost control initiatives
●Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure data integrity
●Implement process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
●Manage equipment maintenance and vendor relationships (forklifts, conveyors, shelving, etc.)
●Handle customer service issues related to warehouse operations
●Prepare operational reports and present findings to senior management
●Ensure compliance with customer requirements and service level agreements (SLAs)
●Cross-train staff and develop career progression plans
Required Qualifications
●5+ Years Warehouse Management, Logistics, Shipping(or equivalent 5+ years warehouse management experience)
●5+ years of warehouse management or operations management experience in a 3PL or fulfillment environment
●3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
●Strong proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
●Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety compliance
●Demonstrated excellence in inventory management and cycle counting
●Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
●Strong communication and interpersonal skills
●Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
●Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis
●Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
●Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent 5+ years warehouse management experience)
●7+ years of warehouse management experience
●Experience managing multiple warehouse locations or large-scale operations (50,000+ sq ft)
●Experience with e-commerce and direct-to-consumer (D2C) fulfillment
●Experience with automation technologies (conveyor systems, pick-to-light, voice picking)
●Six Sigma or Lean process improvement certification
●Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish or English/Mandarin preferred)
●Experience with NetSuite, SAP, or other enterprise software platforms
Physical Requirements
●Ability to walk and stand for extended periods during warehouse tours and observations
●Ability to lift and carry items up to 20 lbs occasionally
●Ability to climb stairs and ladders to access inventory
●Ability to work in a warehouse environment (temperature variations, noise, moderate activity)
●Ability to operate forklift or material handling equipment (or willingness to become certified)
Working Conditions
●Full-time position (typically 40-50 hours per week)
●Shift work available, including mornings, afternoons, and potential weekends during peak season
●On-call availability for emergencies and operational issues
●Warehouse environment with temperature variations and moderate noise levels
●PPE required including steel-toed shoes and safety vest
●Regular travel to sister facilities may be required for operational support or training
