Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Bilingual (Spanish) Front Desk Medical Receptionist who thrives in a high-volume environment. This role is critical to creating a professional, efficient, and welcoming atmosphere for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner

Verify patient demographics, insurance, and required documentation

Manage incoming calls, scheduling, and appointment confirmations

Collect copays, balances, and maintain accurate payment records

Ensure all intake forms and authorizations are completed prior to visits

Coordinate with clinical staff, providers, and billing department

Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Manage high patient volume while maintaining accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years front desk experience in a medical office (required)

Experience in orthopedic, spine, or surgical practice (preferred)

Strong knowledge of insurance verification and patient registration workflows

Experience with EMR systems (Modmed preferred)

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced setting

Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Bilingual (Spanish)
