Production Management & Process Improvement Specialist

Responsibilities: Including but not limited to the following:

• Develop and manage production plans for Battery Pack Case (BPC) programs, including the MVa (EV9) and MEa (IONIQ 9) programs supplied to MOBIS Montgomery and MOBIS Savannah.

• Monitor production volume, productivity, WIP, cycle time, manpower utilization, and other production KPIs to ensure achievement of operational targets.

• Analyze production bottlenecks, equipment downtime, and process interruptions, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve production stability and efficiency.

• Analyze manufacturing quality issues, conduct root cause investigations, and implement improvement measures to reduce defects, rework, scrap, and production losses.

• Support QRQC activities and internal/customer audits by investigating production and quality issues, developing countermeasures, and maintaining corrective-action documentation.

• Utilize ERP (SAP), MES, and Excel to manage production data, master information, inventory, production records, and manufacturing performance indicators.

• Prepare and maintain manufacturing process instructions, work standards, production procedures, and other shop-floor documentation to ensure standardized production operations.

• Develop manpower plans, coordinate operator assignments, provide work-procedure training, and monitor operator proficiency based on production requirements.

• Support new vehicle programs, Engineering Order (EO) changes, trial operations (T/O), and production launches by coordinating manufacturing readiness, process changes, documentation, and operator training.

• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives related to productivity, quality, cost reduction, inventory, workplace organization, safety, and overall manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

• Minimum 6 months of experience in production management, manufacturing operations, process analysis, process improvement, or related industrial operations.

• Hands-on experience using ERP and/or MES systems for production tracking, manufacturing data management, or KPI management; experience with SAP or a comparable ERP platform is preferred.
