UPS Design Engineer

Lead product development and sustaining engineering activities for Single-Phase UPS systems.

Improve existing products through value engineering and cost optimization.

Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Testing, and Service teams.

Develop and execute engineering test plans and analyze results.

Troubleshoot product and field issues and implement corrective actions.

Evaluate alternative components for product improvements and obsolescence.

Support customer applications and technical inquiries.

Maintain engineering documentation, specifications, and change orders.

Ensure compliance with UL, IEC, and other applicable industry standards.

Support continuous improvement initiatives across the product lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

5-8+ years of experience in Product Engineering or Power Electronics.

Experience with UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems.

Strong knowledge of:

Power Conversion

Electrical Distribution

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work onsite in Delaware, OH.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Lithium-ion Battery Systems.

Firmware or Embedded Systems knowledge.

NEC, NFPA 855, UL, or IEC standards.

2D CAD experience.

Smart Grid, Predictive Maintenance, or Remote Monitoring experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
