Business System Analyst

We are looking a Business Systems Analyst to analyze and improve business processes and technology systems supporting operations. The role will work closely with store management, employees, and technical teams to identify business requirements, evaluate existing systems, improve workflows, and support technology-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to translate business needs into effective system and process improvements.

Roles and Responsibilities

Business Requirements Analysis: Gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical system specifications.

Retail Systems Analysis: Analyze POS, inventory, sales, and ordering systems to identify technology improvements.

Process Improvement: Evaluate workflows and implement technology-driven improvements to increase operational efficiency.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze retail data and prepare reports supporting accurate, data-driven business decisions.

System Testing & Implementation: Conduct system testing, identify defects, and support successful technology implementation.

Documentation & System Support: Maintain system documentation, analyze issues, and support ongoing technology improvements.

Educational Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field required; Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or Information Systems preferred.

Core Competencies: Practical training in Systems Analysis, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and Database Management.

Preferred Skills: Experience or familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
