Job Description*:

· Techno-Functional Consultant / Senior Java Developer with strong experience in utility billing systems, Customer Information Systems (CIS), enterprise integrations, customer communication management, and Java-based application development

responsible for supporting and enhancing upstream and downstream billing applications, designing and implementing integration solutions, and coordinating with business, infrastructure, middleware, and application teams.

· Work on utility billing applications supporting customer bill generation, document processing, and downstream communication workflows.

· Design, develop, and enhance Java/Spring Boot-based applications and microservices.

· Implement and support IBM MQ/JMS-based enterprise messaging integrations.

· Configure and troubleshoot JMS resources including Connection Factories, Queues, and WebLogic JNDI configurations.

· Support upstream and downstream billing integrations involving document generation, transmission, processing, validation, and persistence.

· Collaborate with business users to understand billing workflows, document processing requirements, and operational needs.

· Work with middleware and infrastructure teams for MQ connectivity, environment validation, migration support, and production readiness.

· Develop and enhance JMS consumers using MessageListener architecture for high-volume billing transaction processing.

· Support billing document reconciliation, validation, and issue resolution across integrated systems.

· Participate in production support, incident analysis, root cause identification, and performance optimization.

· Support Agile delivery activities including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and sprint execution.

· Develop REST APIs, SOAP/WSDL integrations, and backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Swagger, Postman, and SoapUI.

Ensure secure application development using OAuth2, JWT, Okta, CI/CD security scans, and enterprise authentication standards
