HIL Engineer

Responsibilities

Work alongside the more experienced HIL engineer, receiving hands on training and support while helping operate HIL setup.

Develop test plan for battery validation in cell for Technicians

Validate Functional Safety requirements on HIL

Act as the liaison between technicians and the systems team to ensure requirements are validated thoroughly

Create and document test report in RNnS (Integrity)

Review test report with the team

Drive activities independently in a fast paced environment

Requirements

CAN communication

Python scripting for automated test development

Battery systems experience with understanding of how critical BMs features work example SOC, SOH, power limits, diagnostics

Diagnostics calibration and validation experience

Circuit and wiring diagram review understanding

Tools and UDS protocol experience
