Production Associate - Onsite

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Production Associate for an Onsite position with a Major Healthcare Company located in Columbus, OH. This is a contract to hire opportunity.

Under the direct supervision of the shift Operations Manager, this role is responsible for all packaging activities, including equipment sanitation, preparation of packaging and product materials, and packing of finished product for shipment. This position requires adherence to all safety rules and compliance with division, corporate, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Stage preapproved repackaging material and equipment for production runs

Assist in operating packaging equipment, including minor troubleshooting

Repackage raw materials into finished products that meet packaging specifications and quality standards

Assist in production room and equipment cleaning/sanitation

Adhere to all cGMPs, safety regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures

Maintain good housekeeping throughout the shift in work areas

Work as a team member to meet or exceed quality and production goals

Partner with supporting areas, such as quality, to report production or quality issues

Perform related duties as assigned

Requirements:

Ability to read, write, and comprehend English for reading documents, product labels, and instructions

Ability to stand for a minimum of 8-12 hours

Manual dexterity with hands

Ability to lift, handle, or push items weighing on average 25 lbs, up to 35 lbs

Must be a team player and demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills

Possess basic mathematical skills

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain cooperative working relationships

Detail-oriented with the ability to use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions

Ability to identify production and quality issues in the production environment

Maintain appropriate attendance standards

Desired skills:

Previous experience as an assembler or on a production line

Pay range: up to $18.00 per hour
