Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration,
Purchasing Management, or a related field.
At least 5 years of proven experience in Purchasing Management, Procurement, or Supply
Chain Operations.
Experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and
procurement planning is highly preferred.
Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory control, and supply chain best practices.
Experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG industry is an advantage.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Experience in using SAGE, SAP, or other accounting/ERP systems.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, and supply chain
management.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and inventory monitoring tools.
Knowledge of food manufacturing regulations, quality standards, and compliance
requirements.
Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship management skills.
Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership, analytical thinking, integrity, and accountability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies aligned with organizational
requirements and business objectives.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, and agreements with suppliers to achieve cost
efficiency and value optimization.
Ensure the timely delivery, quality, and availability of procured materials, goods, and services.
Manage and maintain supplier databases, purchase records, contracts, and other
procurement-related documentation.
Implement strategic sourcing initiatives, including the evaluation and development of local
and international suppliers.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, quality standards, and
regulatory requirements.
Continuously review and improve purchasing systems, processes, and workflows to enhance
efficiency and effectiveness.
Lead, coach, and train new employees on purchasing procedures, policies, and the use of
procurement systems.
Conduct supplier visits, vendor assessments, and fieldwork as required.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply and continuous
improvement.
Monitor supplier performance, including delivery reliability, quality compliance, and service
levels.
Perform other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Increase the number of accredited suppliers for raw materials, packaging materials, and non-
COGS items to ensure supply continuity and competitiveness.
Expand the pool of accredited salted fish suppliers from one (1) to five (5) to support the
requirements of the MRD Team for fish sauce and bagoong production.
Ensure on-time delivery and fulfillment of AFA, MRD, and MSL requirements to support
uninterrupted production operations.
Develop and accredit at least two (2) qualified buyers/suppliers of fish oil and fish meal from
the current baseline of zero (0) to improve sourcing options and supply reliability.
