Odoo Trainer/ Training Specialist

We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Odoo ERP Trainer to deliver high-quality training programs for both clients and internal teams on the Odoo ERP system. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Odoo modules, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.

In this role, you will conduct hands-on workshops, create clear user guides, and align software features with daily business workflows. Responsibilities include preparing training materials, facilitating practical training sessions, supporting ERP implementation projects, and ensuring that users feel confident and competent in using Odoo effectively.

JOB OVERVIEW & ROLE SUMMARY

• Role: Odoo Trainer/ Training Specialist.

• Core Objective: Drive user adoption and system proficiency across core Odoo apps.

• Work Form: Full-time (onsite).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver Training: Lead live interactive sessions, virtual webinars, and onsite training workshops tailored to the company’s business processes, and adapt training to different user levels, from beginners to advanced users (training presentations and video tutorials).

• Module Coverage: Teach functional use of modules like Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, Purchase, and Manufacturing (MRP) across key Odoo modules (Accounting, Sales, Inventory, CRM, HR, Purchase, Manufacturing, etc.).

• Material Creation: Design clear user manuals, training slide decks, quick-reference cheat sheets, and video tutorials.

• Process Alignment: Tailor lesson plans to fit unique client business operations and standard operating procedures.

• Post-Training Support: Address user questions, troubleshoot basic operational issues, and evaluate training success through feedback.

KEY REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

• Knowledge: Deep functional understanding of Odoo ERP features and setup.

• Business Acumen: Ability to translate corporate workflows (finance, supply chain, HR) into simple software steps.

• Communication: Exceptional public speaking, presentation, and active listening skills.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.

• Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. (Official Odoo Certification is a strong plus).

• YOE: Minimum of 3–5 years' experience working with Odoo ERP.

• Experience in ERP implementation or consulting is highly desirable.

• Strong knowledge of key Odoo functional modules.

• Understanding of Nigerian tax and accounting practices is an added advantage.

• Odoo certification is a plus.

• Strong understanding of business processes.

• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
