Maintenance Supervisor
Salary $80,000 - $90,000 + Benefits + Bonus + Paid relocation to the Upper Midwest
Join a stable, thriving food & beverage manufacturing plant as our Maintenance Supervisor! Lead an established team of 11 technicians and drive a proactive maintenance strategy that eliminates unscheduled downtime and optimizes critical high-speed production assets.
Your Key Responsibilities as our Maintenance Supervisor:
• Team Leadership: Prioritize, assign, and oversee daily work orders for a 11-person maintenance team; manage training, performance, and timekeeping.
• PM Strategy: Execute and optimize the predictive/preventative maintenance (PM) program using CMMS/PMS software to minimize asset breakdowns.
• Root Cause Analysis: Diagnose equipment failures and implement sustainable mechanical and electrical solutions.
• Project Support: Partner with the Maintenance Manager on capital expenditure (CapEx) and special facility projects.
Minimal requirements for this Maintenance Supervisor position:
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance technician experience
• Minimum of 2 years of a supervisory or lead role – can be in the above 5 years!
• Need maintenance experience in the Food & Beverage manufacturing industry
• Balanced electrical and mechanical background with experience in motor control circuitry up to 480V (3-phase)
• Hands-on exposure to high-speed fillers, blow mold machines, air compressors, and conveyors
• PLC troubleshooting & programming experience in Rockwell / Allen Bradley
• Working knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Proficiency with a CMMS.
