Supervisor at the Feed Mill

Role Overview

Napro Group is seeking a hands-on Supervisor to manage daily operations primarily at our feed mill, while coordinating selected activities with the flour mill. This role ensures smooth operations, workforce efficiency, and high standards across all facilities.

Daily Responsibilities

Open administration offices and operational areas at 7:45 AM.

Ensure all workers are present by 8:00 AM and adhere to working hours.

Monitor attendance, absences, and overtime in coordination with administration.

Assign and supervise workers across the feed mill, housing facilities, and surrounding areas.

Allocate workers to factory cleaning and operations based on production needs and material shortages.

Monitor raw material availability (premix, corn, soybean meal, empty bags) and report shortages.

Organize the receipt of raw materials and additives at any time as required.

Ensure proper storage, silo cleaning, and apply FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.

Receive shipments (including port deliveries) and coordinate unloading to avoid delays and penalties.

Redistribute workers during the day to maintain productivity and meet priorities.

Review progress during lunch break and issue clear instructions for task completion.

Coordinate next-day workforce planning, including alignment with the flour mill supervisor.

Organize forklift operations and prepare shipment-based schedules.

Ensure all daily tasks are completed by 5:00 PM and identify follow-up actions.

Verify quality of cleaning and operational work meets required standards.

Oversee end-of-day cleaning of key areas, including loading zones and administration surroundings.

Prepare all required raw materials for night production.

Close offices and ensure all utilities are turned off properly.

Additional Responsibilities

Manage diesel distribution for generators and operational equipment.

Ensure warehouse cleanliness and readiness before incoming shipments.

Inspect and prepare receiving equipment, including hopper and weighbridge.

Oversee maintenance and cleaning of facilities (water tanks, air conditioning units).

Coordinate bagging of raw materials according to sales orders.

Perform additional operational tasks as assigned by management.

Profile

Strong organizational and leadership skills

Excellent people and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams from diverse cultural backgrounds

Hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive

Experience in industrial or production environments (feed mill experience is an advantage)

Flexible and able to respond to dynamic operational needs
