Designation : Quantity Suveryor

Key Responsibilities

1. Tendering & Bid Management

Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications.

Prepare quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimates.

Conduct rate analysis and cost comparisons.

Coordinate with internal teams for technical and commercial inputs.

Prepare and compile complete bid submission documents.

Ensure timely and compliant submission of bids.

2. Estimation & Quantity Survey

Prepare BOQs based on drawings and project scope.

Conduct detailed measurement and quantity analysis.

Support pre-bid clarifications and value engineering.

Assist management with project cost planning and budgeting.

3. Client Billing & Revenue Management

Prepare RA Bills, milestone bills, and final bills as per client PO and contract

terms.

Coordinate with Project Manager and site team for measurement

certification.

Ensure billing is aligned with work completion and contractual terms.

Liaise with Finance team to raise tax invoices and submit statutory

documentation.

Resolve billing discrepancies with clients.

Follow up to ensure timely payment realization.

4. Vendor Bill Certification

Verify and certify vendor/subcontractor bills based on site inputs.

Coordinate with site engineers for measurement sheets and work completion

status.

Ensure cost control and budget tracking.

Submit certified bills to Finance for processing.

5. Documentation & Coordination

Maintain tender and billing documentation records.

Track contract variations and change orders.

Ensure compliance with contractual and statutory requirements.

Coordinate with site and project teams for necessary documentation.

6. Quality & Process Involvement

Participate in quality assurance processes.

Ensure compliance with project specifications during billing verification.

Support documentation required for audits and internal quality systems.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering

Experience: 3–7 years in Interior & Civil Projects

Strong knowledge of estimation, BOQ preparation, and RA billing

Understanding of contract terms and GST compliance

Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation tools
