Hiring Basis: 6-month contract to permanent
Shifts: 1st & 2nd Shift
Location: Maple Lake, MN 55358
Pay: First Shift $18-$19/Hourly/W2, Second Shift $20-$21/Hourly/W2 plus $3,000 sign on bonus paid once converted to permanent. 1st shift is 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday, 2nd Shift hours are 3:25pm to 1:55am Monday-Thursday OR 3:25pm to 11:55pm Monday-Friday

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our rotational molding production team. This role involves operating molding equipment, ensuring proper material handling, monitoring machine cycles, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate rotational molding machines according to standard operating procedures.
Load molds with raw plastic materials (typically polyethylene).
Monitor heating, rotation, and cooling cycles to ensure optimal mold performance.
Remove finished parts from molds and perform basic trimming and quality inspection.
Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks.
Accurately document production data and complete shift reports.
Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools.
Work with team leads or supervisors to ensure production goals and quality standards are met.
Safely handle molds and tools with the assistance of hoists or lifting devices.
Assist with mold changes, set-ups, and cleaning as required.
Comply with all company safety, quality, and housekeeping policies.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
1+ year of machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred, especially in plastics or molding.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn machine processes.
Ability to read work instructions and use measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
Comfortable working in hot conditions due to the molding process.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS (NOT REQUIRED):
Experience with rotational molding or thermoplastics manufacturing.
Forklift certification or experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings.
