POSITION OVERVIEW

GEA is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Estimator to join our team based in Hudson, WI. The Manufacturing Estimator will prepare cost estimates and quotations by researching archives, analyzing specifications in order to calculate labor and material costs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Post-High School Technical education (two or four year degree) in Manufacturing Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, related field, or equivalent and related work experience.

Two to three years of experience estimating in a custom manufacturing environment

Must have good analytical skills and be detail oriented.

Must possess good English language communication skills, both verbal and written.

Must possess good interpersonal skills and work well in a team setting as well as independently as required.

Working knowledge of MS Office products and ERP systems

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepares work to be estimated by gathering inputs, proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by reviewing proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

Computes costs and delivery by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.

Maintains cost database and reviews and audits projects in-process and completed

Provides historical reference by managing contract and quote archive.

Maintains a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders and customers.
