Description:

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is recruiting a Youth Hip Hop Instructor to work at various community centers in Seattle.

This instructor will be responsible for teaching Hip Hop classes to elementary-aged children. Additionally, the instructor must have the ability to engage children in activities and movement in Hip Hop dance techniques. Creativity, patience, and a love for teaching is a must!

Location: Central Seattle (Garfield, Miller) community centers, Green Lake Community Center, and Hazel Wolf Elementary School

Schedule: To be determined by the community centers - typically one hour per day in the afternoons; possibility for multiple classes each week at various locations

Start date: Immediate

End date: Ongoing depending on location

Pay range: $18-20 per hour DOE

Requirements:

•Over 18 years of age

•Experience with teaching Hip Hop dance techniques

•Ability to plan age-appropriate activities, work well and communicate well with children

•Must pass criminal background check

•Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid government issued ID

•Must sign up for direct deposit with either checking or savings account or Payroll Paycard
