Human Resources Generalist

Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist will conduct internal training classes for employees and will assist in the following recruiting activities as needed: background checks, reference checks, interview scheduling, and university recruiting. This individual will serve as administrator of the Halogen learning system and ACT WorkKeys and will be responsible for data entry into the payroll system for salaried employees. The HR Generalist will process tuition reimbursement paperwork and secure required approval for all donation requests before processing for payment. The individual in this role will assist in planning and conducting employee events, including but not limited to quarterly communication meetings, service awards, and employee luncheons and will perform administrative duties as needed. The confidentiality of company information, employee information, and all other sensitive information must be maintained at all times.


Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources related field.

Experience: 1 – 2 years’ experience in Human Resources.

Special Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to effectively speak in front of large groups of employees.
