QA Automation Engineer

Location: Columbus, OH

Position Type: Contract

US Citizen, Green Card, TN, GC EAD and H4 EAD only. No third-party agencies corp to corp.

Job Description: We are looking for a solid Automation QA Engineer who has:

Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing techniques, including functional, non-functional, system integration testing, defect management and understanding of Agile/Scrum processes

Proficient with Ruby, Cucumber, Gherkin, Watir and Selenium.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline or 8-10+ years equivalent work experience.

Independently able to automate tests using Ruby/Cucumber, Java, or other similar language.

Works well independently and collaboratively.

Strong communication, public speaking, coaching, and mentoring skills.

Willingness to learn a broad spectrum of OCLC products.

Understanding of Agile/Scrum processes and experience participating in an Agile team.

Experience with defect management.

Experience with testing across varieties of devices and operating systems.

Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing techniques, including functional, non-functional, system integration, install verification, and testing across many phases of a project.

Proficient with Gherkin, Ruby, Cucumber, Watir and Selenium.

Solid understanding of computer programming, software development, and design.

Desired but not required:

Hadoop ecosystem, HBase, HDFS, MapReduce, Spark.

Continued education in testing.

Minimum 3 years' experience in one or more of the following, RSpec, Java, Javascript, Jenkins, Git, Postman/SoapUI, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.
