Job Title: HR Administrative Assistant

Location: Fort Worth, TX, 76102

Duration: 02 Months Contract (Extendable depending on business needs & performance)

Days and Hours: M-F, 8 AM - 5 PM (some flexibility if needed)

Provides customer service to HR clients and payroll processing. Primary responsibilities include payroll, handling employee questions or concerns and new hire processing. The HR Assistant will also support other HR clerical roles with HR systems management, as well as other duties as assigned.

Principal Duties:

•25% - Payroll processing for Hourly and Non-Exempt, including Saturday pay, LIP’s, and including payroll deductions including employee sales etc. Also, includes reporting on supervisor comments and missed punches.

•20% - Serve as the first point of contact for customer service for the Human Resources department answering all employee concerns and questions, and directing them to the appropriate resource for additional assistance.

•20% - Administrative/clerical support with data entry of employee transactions such as employee changes (PAF), open enrollment, engagement programs, recognition program, new hire processing, filing, etc., meeting all legal requirements and plant/corporate deadlines.

•15% - Employee attendance processing including processing planned vacations, approved days off, attendance calls.

•10% - Assisting with HR projects, filing, and other duties as assigned.

•10% - General Administration for the Plant Leadership team including ordering meals, booking venues for meetings, and translations.

Qualifications:

•A High School diploma or GED Equivalency.

•1+ years’ experience in an HR administrative role.

•Prior work experience handling confidential information and documents

•Demonstrated strong computer/technical skills and capabilities (e.g. Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, Access & PowerPoint).

•Labor Law Knowledge, specifically regarding FMLA, PDL, leave laws.

•Bilingual (English/ Spanish).

Preferred Qualifications:

•2 or 4-year degree in Business or Human Resources.

•1+ years’ experience in a production environment.

•Working knowledge of PeopleSoft and Kronos.

PR: $15 - $15.70/hr.
