If you're craving a job that's packed with excitement, great pay, Monday-Friday starting at 6:30 am, and no weekends with the satisfaction of delivering essential goods to our community, then look no further than our Delivery Assistant.

As a Delivery Assistant at Norfolk Kitchen & Bath, you will become a crucial part of our team, delivering cabinets and countertops to our customers. We believe that our Delivery Assistants are the face of our company and as such, we are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable and has excellent customer service skills. You will not only deliver our products, but you will also be responsible for ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their orders.

When you are not on the road, you will be working inside the warehouse packing orders, organizing inventory, and ensure deliveries are prepped and ready to roll.

Key responsibilities:

Accompany delivery drivers to residential remodeling sites

Check and verify deliveries against invoices, packing lists, and work orders

Communicate effectively with project managers, installers, and clients on-site

Assist in loading and unloading kitchen and bathroom materials like countertops, cabinets, and vanities

Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items promptly

Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory organization and stock preparationRequirements:

Be physically fit and able to perform daily deliveries. This role requires lifting, bending, and standing

Must have Shipment/delivery work experience: Delivery assistant, helper, or driver aide.

Must have heavy lifting experience

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
