Surgical Services - Sterile Processing Tech (SPT)

(1st Shift)= Monday - Friday, 6AM - 2:30PM **SCREEN FOR HIGH DISINFECTION LEVELS** We are seeking candidates who are experienced with all areas of the department, which include: • Decontamination of all items (Drills, Davinci, scopes, • Assembly of all instruments in all service lines (Trauma, loaners, peel packaging included) • Sterilization process (sterrad and steam) • HLD/ Scope experience • Sterile Storage • OR Liaison experience • Censitrac Tracking system experience • Familiar with endoscope reprocessing (Medivator, Scope Buddy) CBSPD or CRCST required SPT Candidate Eligibility Restrictions - Previous permanent staff and return travelers are not eligible.

- Travelers who reach the one-year max contract limit are not eligible for extensions or future assignments.

- Candidates who reside within a 50-mile radius of the care site address are not eligible.

Current contractors who are already within the 50-mile radius may complete their existing contract and extend up to the one-year maximum contract limit.

Agency staff have the following parking permit options (purchased through CampusParc at osu.campusparc.com): The WB and CXS permits require annual payment upfront and are not available as monthly permits.

The WMC permit is available monthly.

WMC Monthly Permit: 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage - $224.80/month or $748.58 per 100 days.

WB Annual Permit: 9th Avenue East and West Garages on weekends and holidays; West Campus WB/WC lots 24/7 with shuttle service - $196.20/year.

CXS Annual Permit: 9th Avenue East and West Garages on weekends and holidays; Buckeye CX and West Campus lots 24/7 - $393.96/year.

WB Parking Details: Parking is available in West Campus Carmack Lots 2 and 3, approximately 1.7 miles from OSU Wexner Medical Center.

The Pink Shuttle runs every 3-5 minutes during peak times and reaches the medical center in approximately 8-9 minutes.

Weekend garage access is available from Friday at 2:00 p.m.

through Monday at 8:00 a.m.

Outside those hours, regular hourly garage rates apply.

Refund Information: Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits.

Current and prior months are not refundable.

Cancel by 6:30 p.m.

on the last business day of the month to avoid the next charge.

Refund checks may take 3-5 weeks.
