Poker Room Receptionist

Supervisor: Poker Room Coordinator / Poker Room Manager

Job Summary:

• Welcome guests and players to the poker room. Assists players in joining a game and with any inquiries and concerns they may have. Assists in the administrative needs of co-workers and the poker room

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries

• Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions

• Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook

• Maintains telecommunication system by following manufacturer’s instruction for house phone and console operation

• Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations

• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs

• Ensure smooth flow and transition of player wait list

• Provides customer support assistance to players as needed

• Provides support to other dealers and floor staff as needed

• Assists in maintaining gaming tables and playing floor area in neat, clean and work-safe condition

• Fulfills other duties as may be customary or as otherwise directed by supervisor or card room management

Qualifications:

• Age 21 and above

• Microsoft Office Skills

• Knows supply management

• College graduate

• Has related experience
